A four part workshop to teach you how to crochet a unique handmade blanket for your baby using the popular ‘Granny Square’ technique.
Creating Granny Squares is a good introduction to the basics of crochet. You will learn chain stitch, slip stitch, treble crochet and working in rounds. The course is suitable for beginners and those wanting to learn a new technique.
The course is taught by Ruthie Ford, a Sheffield based crochet artist who has been teaching textiles workshops for 5 years.
£60 for the four sessions. Each week this includes materials, tools and a cup of coffee from the lovely Hagglers Corner cafe. Plus crochet handouts to take home.
